Travel to one of Maine's many remote ponds or streams for one of Maine's most treasured fish, the wild native brook trout! Maine has the highest population of wild native brook trout in the lower 48 and these beautiful remote places are where they live! The ponds are often deep and spring fed with unique aquatic environments and the cold mountain streams are filled with runs, pools, an riffles that hold trout in nearly every spot. It is not uncommon to catch 30 plus brookies per person in a single day! Full day trips include lunch and possibly a small fish fry if desired.
