Fly Fishing Float Trip
Blowing Rock, North Carolina
BY BOOKING THIS TRIP, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING REFUND AND BOOKING POLICY:
At the time of booking, Speckled Trout Outfitters takes full payment. If you need to re-schedule or cancel, please do so at least 10 days before the date of your trip. If you cancel inside of 10 days, you will lose 50% of the trip cost. If you cancel within 72 hours of the trip, you will lose 100% of the trip cost. (Please note: this is to protect the time of our guides who have blocked their calendars for said trip(s), as you are booking time with a guide, not a time slot on the river). We will do our best to accommodate a reschedule. In the event of inclement weather, your guide will decide whether to cancel as necessary for safety and we will reschedule for a later date or provide a full refund. We will do our best to accommodate a re-booking as quickly as possible. Otherwise, we ask that you do so within 12 months of your original trip date.
Join us on a float trip! This trip offers beginners or advanced anglers alike the opportunity to float one of our pristine fisheries in East Tennessee. Different from a wade, you will have the opportunity to cover more mileage, scenery, and possibly, more fish!
On the day of your trip, you will meet at The Speckled Trout Outfitters Parking Lot between 6:00 am-7:00 am. (Your guide will contact you 48 hours prior to your trip to solidify a meeting time.) You will have a 1 hour trip to the pristine tailwaters of the Watauga or South Holston River. (It's recommended that you park your vehicle at a community parking lot nearby and ride with the guide).
Half Day (Approx. 4 Hours of River Time): Your Trip will start at The Speckled Trout Outfitters Shop between 6 and 7 am, and you will return around 1:30-2:30 pm +/-. If the date you want isn't showing available, please call (828) 773-8852 or drop us a line.
Full Day (Approx. 6.5 Hours of River Time): Your Trip will start at The Speckled Trout Outfitters Shop between 6 and 7 am, and you will return around 4-5 pm +/-.
Things We Encourage you to Bring:
- Polarized Sunglasses
