Truckee River Walk and Wade Fly Fishing Trip
SingleDay
The Truckee River is a tail water, but flows like a freestone stream. The River flows 120 miles from East Lake Tahoe to Pyramid Lake in Nevada. The California side will often fish completely different than the Nevada side of the river. The Cali side generally offers a larger population of fish but smaller in size. The Nevada side generally has a smaller population with larger fish. Species of fish include Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout, Mountain Whitefish, and Carp (Nevada).
