Guided Fly Fishing Float Trip

The float trip is our most popular guide trip option. Float anglers cover miles of river that are often inaccessible to the wading public. We can float a wider variety of rivers and flow conditions to keep you on the water during peak fishing periods. Float trips usually begin at 7:00 Am meeting at a convenient location as discussed with your fly fishing guide. We can custom tailor any fly fishing trip to meet your needs and schedule. Including handicap accessible trips.

Half Day Float - $400 per 1 or 2 anglers

- 4 hours on one of our premeire rivers

- All equipment provided

- Cold beverages

Full Day Float - $500 per 1 or 2 anglers

- 6-8 hours on one of our premiere rivers

- All equipment provided

- Snacks, lunch, and cold beverages

Booking and Payment Policy:

a. Full payment will be charged for trips scheduled within 48 hours.

Trip Details:

a. Start and end times for trips may vary depending on various factors such as weather conditions and group size.

b. Meeting locations will also vary based on location.

c. Your guide will contact you before the trip to confirm specific details, including meeting location and time.

Group and Corporate Bookings:

a. For large groups or corporate outings, please contact our team directly at 828-333-8100.

b. If you are unable to find a date or time that suits your needs on our website, please don't hesitate to contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Equipment and Attire:

a. Participants are encouraged to bring appropriate clothing and gear for the trip, including sun protection, layered clothing, and waterproof footwear. Here is a general list: light weight rain jacket, extra socks and clothes, personal items, a waterproof bag, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, layers of clothing and warm socks, long underwear or fleece pants (for cool days), waders and boots (will be provided but we suggest breathable waders and felt or rubber soled boots), and a rod and reel (included on all trips, If you prefer your own we suggest at 9ft 5wt).

b. Mountain Fly Anglers will provide fishing equipment, but participants are welcome to bring their own if preferred.

Liability:

a. Participants are responsible for their own safety during the trip, and Mountain Fly Anglers cannot be held liable for personal injuries or lost or damaged belongings.

b. All participants must sign a liability waiver before the trip.

Food and Refreshments:

a. Some trips may include meals or refreshments. Please check the trip details for specifics on what is provided.
