Summit Climbing Guides

This clinic is designed for beginner to intermediate climbers that have a basic grasp of gear placement but are psyched to take their climbing to the next level! Learn to build solid, equalized trad anchors, gear placements, and basic rock rescue techniques.This will be a hands-on day with lots of practice with natural gear. We will also have top ropes set up so that we can move our bodies and practice some basic rescue skills.

This clinic is for beginner to intermediate climbers that have an interest in learning the art of crack climbing. This clinic will be a” jam” packed day full of all things crack climbing including gear and anchor skills. Learn to jam all sizes of cracks and get a flow climbing them. Students will also get to mock lead to get a feel of protecting cracks safely.

Time to get you on the sharp end! This clinic is designed for intermediate climbers that want to get into lead climbing. We will cover racking options, communication, rope management, gear placements, belaying a second, organization, and transitions.

This clinic with experts Hans Florine and Heidi Wirtz will help to get you more solid in multi pitch fundamentals making you smoother, faster and more likely for success when setting out on multi-pitch climbs. This is a hands on clinic that includes transition drills, tips and tricks for speeding up your multi-pitch climbing while still managing your risk. This clinic is designed with intermediate to advanced climber in mind and best suited for those that have a fairly solid grasp of gear place.

No experience is needed for the rappelling course. Learn how to clean bolted anchors, do long rappels, and use gear safely. Our highly knowledgeable and experienced instructors teach proper gear use and techniques.
